I am wondering if anyone else has received an oath invite at Terminal 1 Lounge 15 in Pearson I have never heard of this and was wondering if this is something different?

The location for the ceremony is at the airport

This is new. Ircc trying to clear the Oct backlog.
Thanks that could be why. Does a typical ceremony have a "roundtable discussion"?

Is this on ecas / oath letter? A quick google search shows that lounge 15 is just like any other lounge with some seats.

Yes that was the location on the oath letter

Yep, I got that location as well. My application is a Scarborough one.

Is it the July 19th ceremony?

Seems to be a special one hosted by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship with roundtable discussions, the ceremony itself, time for photos and a reception with cake and refreshments. Looking online it seems these are pretty rare occurrences and it's exciting to get invited to one as it becomes a bit more of an occasion than the normal ones. I think it should be a nice end to the whole process!

There was a separate letter inside ours from the Institute for Canadian Citizenship with various details.

This is 'proof' that the conservatives were right (C-24): people are 'literally' getting citizenship "on their the way to the airport". LOL!
