Did my test sept 23 2014 and passed.
Further docs were requested. Docs sent to the office and received on 20 of
Oct
until today i have not received the oath invitation? !!
Mississauga office.

can you share your time line as per how long between test and oath invitation.

what docs were reuested....did they request the docs during the interview after test...how did the interview end .......

They asked net income docs and how business was going
the interview went well and it was right after the test
also requested passport copies.

May be you need to call and ask if your file is approved and granted and what date!!! Because if the file is not approved then you still has some time left to wait. I hope not.

Hi Maple,

We passed our test in August (1st half) and still waiting for the oath letter. No concerns during the interview.
I hope we will receive something shortly, this waiting game is very stressful.

Hi Sophie_Anne, I am surprised you still dint get the Oath invitaion. I still remember the journey with you last year. It's totally unfair. Atleast they should notify on why the delay is rather than keeping in Limbo.

No, I haven't, unfortunately
We called them at least 6 times - no updates. No concerns, routine application waiting for the approval etc. etc.
If we do not hear anything within the next 3 weeks:
1. We will ask the CC to send a reminder to the local office. Apparently they can do this 6 months after the test if the oath is not scheduled.
2. We will try to approach our MP to send a follow up.

I will keep you guys updated and thanks for your encouragements

I would suggest you to contact them using online case specific inquiry.

They would take time on your online query and check for all the details and get back to you unlike on call, you would have limited time to discuss and they would tell you straight forward answer of current status looking at the system.

Thank you all guys for your posts.
i think i will call and ask why the delay.

They definitely take longer than what is expected especially when there is nothing wrong with the file and interview.
maybe it is normal but it is us the applicants who are fed up with waiting and waiting.
On the cic website it clearly states the oath invitation letter takes up to 6 months after passing the test.
so it means i just have to call them to make sure i did not miss anything from them and then keep waiting.
