I am planning to do 1 year pg diploma in fanshawe college .But my cousin told me its very difficult to get PR in Ontario after pg diploma.
So i am confused right now
which course ,which city ??????

Yes it is difficult after a 1 year pgdm. Go for masters in a ontario university, after course completion without any job offer u can get pr in ontario. For more details http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPSTUDENTS_MASTERS.html

I want to know the reputation of Western university ? I want to do Meng .

It's not the top ranked - but it's decent. Top ranked for engineering would be Waterloo and University of Toronto.

Ok plzz suggest me some universities which have low tuition fees
Profile
B.tech 74% 2015

I am planning for PR
So should I do ms or pg diploma.
Please suggest me courses and colleges.
Btech - 65%

To get PR you must apply for two year study course i.e 16 months or at least 4 semesters. After your studies you'll be allowed a post graduate work permit for two to three years which can get you a PR.

One year or two semester course will allow you the work permit of only one year.

Alright! the low tuition universities are in mostly out of Ontario, like Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Colombia. but you can find low tuition in Ontario colleges as well.

don't go to ONT try Manitoba or Saskatchewan. It will be easy for u later for PR

Hello all,

Completed B.E. ( E.C.) with 6.41 CGPA & M.TECH. ( E.C.) with 7.22 CGPA,

Now i want to go canada in order to settle there ( PR ),

Someone please suggest me which course i opt & further procedure,

Thanks.

Just a few pointers for international students who are aiming for canadian education and later canadian PR.
1. Try to get atleast 1 year skilled experience outside canada helps ur points for express entry. 0 experience in home country puts u behind on points for PR
2. Read about PNP of the province ur going too
3. Improve ur english . higher the english languagle skills better chances of PR
3. Aim for better education example rather than PG diploma go for masters if u can, this will give ur more points
4. always go for a 3 year PGWP with new PR rules it will almost be impossible to get PR in 1 year unless u have a LMIA.
5. choose a skilled profession(NOC 0,A,B).
6. use the CRS calculator to find out where u stand with regards to PR http://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html
450 and above points are better. below 450 u will have hard time under express entry.
7. If you can improve ur French it would help u for PR.
8 read about Express entry program http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp

these are a few pointers other people may add more but without thinking above point do not just jump in for canadian education it has now become very difficult to get PR so plan ahead

@ mead :

Completed 12th in 2009, Bachlor's in 2013 & Master's in 2015,

My field is " Electronics & Communication " , It is too much difficult to find job here in this field, So i thought without wasting time apply for study ( Dual Master's OR PG Diploma ) to PR visa in canada,

So i thought to enter on a student visa then work on PSW & later apply for PR,

What do you think ?

Kindly reply,

Thanks.
