Missing LoE AFTER application submission (despite upload)

Hi all,

just to confirm that I applied what was advised on another similar thread and it worked for me:
keep hitting refresh button in your browser address bar and at one point it will show your LoE uploaded with other documents. Take a screenshot and enjoy, it is there but it will disappear again when you log in.
Gosh you must be lucky cos I've been doing that and logging in and out as well. No luck yet.

Update: DraganaDO, you must be lucky for me too. I refreshed the documents submitted page 4 times and it showed up. To clarify for others, this is the alternate version of the checklist which shows client information section along with the other required document sections, and against that I can see the LOE uploaded. In the first version (the one which is shown as default while viewing submitted documents) of the checklist the LOE doesn't show up under the optional documents section (in blue). Upon refreshing four times or more it alternates to the other version and thus shows the LOE.

hey guys!

Any update on this situation? I've had the same thing happen to me. Submitted my PR 5 days ago, checked today and noticed that the LOE is gone and I 100% loaded it up. I cleared the cookies and cache for the site, tried multiple browsers and incognito mode, but still doesn't load up. I am now paranoid that I didn't load it up and its making me crazy.

Thanks!

Hey andy21, I had a similar situation. No need to worry - this was my update quoted above, sometime back. You can raise a CSE with your LOE and select technical issue - they would confirm the receipt within a week. Keep in mind you won't be getting a confirmation of submitting CSE either. Just hold on after submitting it. Again, the CSE is not required to be submitted if you're sure of uploading it - seems like their new system has a UI glitch where it doesn't show the LOE as uploaded in the main page. Try the steps I did and you might see it in the alternate version of the uploaded documents page.

Same problem, will try refreshing and clearing cache, hoping it shows up so that I don't get paranoid.

If I am unable to see it on refresh/logging-out etc. is it advisable to raise a CSE just a week after submitting application?

Hey, yes I did raise a cse for the LOE not being displayed and a technical error report as well on the day of submission itself. I got a response in a week. Good luck.

Hi guys, I have the same problem, as other guys said, I refreshed "Documents submitted by the client" page many times, and client information file finally showed up in required documents section. I believe there is no reason to worry about it, apparently, it is the website bug.
Do you guys recommend me to raise a CSE after seeing my client information file, need to mention that after hitting another refresh it is gone again!

Thank you in advance!

Hey Kevin, Yes, as you found out, the file is already with the application. For your peace of mind, you could raise a CSE with technical issue as the reason and get a confirmation of the submission of the LOE document - since it is indeed a bug on their website. I did this before I found the document on the page through multiple refreshes. The confirmation email from them can help ease your mind. Good luck!

Raising a CSE won't cause delay in the process?

I cleared the Chached images and files in my browser history, then refreshed. That's when I was able to see my LOE. Then when I refreshed again, it disappeared again.

Thank you for helping out. I was about to send it again through web form even though me and my wife clearly remembered that we uploaded LOE. I kept on refreshing the page and then somehow it displayed LOE. Took a snapshot now.

Hi all,

I have the same problem as I remember there were two variants of the webpage where we upload the documents. Whenever the second version of the page loads, my LoE is getting displayed whereas in the first one, it doesn't.

However, I just dialled +1 613 944 4000 and after 20 minutes of wait-time, an agent attended my phone and confirmed that my LoE was uploaded successfully.

I don't need to go for CSE, right?

Thanks

Happened to me and I had raised a Web form for it. Here's the response I got:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the letter of explanation was received (under client information) by the responsible office."

They received the file even though it does not show up online.
