Missing expired passport

I got a new passport a few years ago, but I don't have the old one anymore. The application is asking for the travel documents for the entire 5 years period, and I don't have the document for those remaining 2 years.

I do have a black and white photocopy of it, but that's it. There is an option to explain missing bio page, but I'd rather not go with that option.

You can attach whatever you have. Even the black and white photocopy and explaining the situation as part of Letter of explanation. If you don't do it now it will come back as a additional document request from IRCC, delaying your application.
