Missing Documents - Photo Request from CPC - HELP!

Hello,

So last week I got my Passport Request for CoPR from CPC. I sent all the requested documents which is basically the original passport, 2 passport photos, prepaid return envelope and a copy of the request letter.

Today, I get a message from CPC Ottawa requesting my Passport Photos as it's missing. I'm pretty sure I sent the pictures along in the package in a blue envelope. They didn't mention if it's a case of the pictures missing / the pictures don't meet up to their specifications for whatever reason.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I've tried sending them an email stating the same, but as I understand it, it takes 20 days to receive a response from them. Do they have a phone number I can contact ? As I'd like to proceed with this but I'm unsure on how to. I can resend them additional passport photographs but if they aren't to their specifications it won't help. I know CPC asks for pictures that are 2 inches wide and 2.75 inches in length, whereas in the US passport photographs are printed on 2 inch x 2 inch. So I'm wondering if that could be the issue, although the document just states the following:

Missing Document(s):
o Two Passport sized photos for you and all family members accompanying. See our specifications at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf[R1]

Any thoughts ?

So you basically sent them photos that didn't meet their specifications?

If so, then of course that's the problem!

Get photos taken that meet their requirements and send them to CIC.
Not quite, I'm in the US and the standard passport picture over here is 2 inch x 2 inch. That's the government requirement that every photo studio has to follow. Hence I posted on here to see if anyone else has had this issue and what the solution is as I don't think I'm the only one from the US who has sent the passport pictures in. Also CTC labeled this as 'Missing Documents', so my bigger concern is they in fact were missing or if this just an oversight.

Absolutely not true.

1.Passport and CIC requirements are different. 2. Take INSTRUCTIONS from CIC site for photos and go to a studio where a photographer knows the difference between photos for US passports and CIC. 3. Photos are digital and could be changed in any way you like (actually, you must follow CIC requirements).

Do not know where you live but for example :
11702 Pacific Avenue S
Tacoma, Washington

> Canadian Passport and Immigration Photos

We are the photography studios recommended by

The Canadian Consulate for both Canadian Passport and Immigration Photos

Thanks for the response Regina, I'm located in Harrisburg, PA. CVS and RiteAid or even Fedex Kinkos for that matter won't print on anything that's not 2 x 2inch.
