Missing Application (S.O.S)

Hi guz,
Yesterday I called CIC call center and finally was able to talking with someone. After asking my last name, first name and D.O.B and searching in CIC database I was told by an agent that there is no record against my name their database. I told him that I have a Poof Of Delivery by FedEx that my application is received at CIO on 24 Feb 2010 and signed by G.MILLER . Then he asked for the receipt # unfortunately it was not with me at that time so he asked me to call again with receipt # with me so they can e-mail to concern authority for further investigation. My question is that is this possible??? If yes where could be my application and how much time they will take to reply me??? I’m very confused and frustrated after waiting for more than three months and finally when u able to know something you come to know that ur application is missing. Great.

My advice is to you is to call them again and tell your receipt number. May be they will dig out the information for you. At this stage it is really hard to track the application as there is no number for that unless it is given by CIO.

i had a simmilar experience with the local visa office...I couriered them but they kept on telling me that they never received my file. Inspite of sending them POD, they never agreed to what i said.

They told me that, if i'm interested file a new case, i had to re-submit my entire file again to them, this was happened back in 2006...They lost my entire file, including the Original IELTS result and DD...i cancelled the DD after 9 months when i convinced that they will never accept that they have received my file....

they simply dont listen ur voice...dont know how to react with such kind of behaviour from the VO...
