If it's only 8 days, I've seen some people squeeze through (not recently, but...), stranger things have happened. But as I said, I'd have a hard time believing you worked on the first and last days of your work permit...

It's a gamble. If you're willing to risk losing the application fee, you can only try. As the others have said, you can punt, but don't be surprised it doesn't work out.

I assume you've already left Canada?

Kovacs,
Did you explore the option of getting a BOWP & gain additional work exp to cover for the gap ?

Or has your WP expired already ?

You can only apply for BOWP once you get a "positive" acceptance in one of the Economic Classes. His WP is expiring before he even gets to that point.

What you have on your paystubs.. sometimes paystubs cover few extra days.. and employers settle it down as a part of full and final settlement. If you have paystubs covering those 8 days.. then you can give it a chance. Another option is FSWII. Now a days FSWs are getting processed real fast.
