MISSED OATH CEREMONY

I missed my oath ceremony ( first time )in Jan. 2020 due to a compelling reason. I gave them an explanation via web form within the next 30 days
but they wrote back asking for proof. Was unable to provide proof .
I called IRCC and they said I will automatically be rescheduled for another oath ceremony , even if my explanation was not accepted.
I will receive a FINAL NOTICE for that . When? they did not know.

Anybody gone thru a similar situation? When do they send the final notice?

Everyone who misses an oath ceremony or interview is rescheduled once. It's common procedure and many people had the same situation...

There's no real timeline for when you'll receive the new invitation. You're back in the waiting queue. Just wait for it. It will come, be it in 2 days or 4 months.

Just make sure to attend the second ceremony no matter what. Failing to show up would mean you abandonned your application and need to start from scratch.

Nothing yet. almost 8 months since I missed .

Send a webform within 30 days explaining why you missed .
If they accept your reason, you will be in line for another first oath date
If you don't send a webform or they don't accept your reason, you will be in line for a FINAL oath date.

People miss their oaths all the time, sometimes for reasons beyond their control. Rescheduled oath ceremonies are are the very bottom of the long list of reasons for delays we are experiencing.

Unfortunately you are put behind the queue where nobody knows when will they consider inviting people who missed their oath, missed mine on 8th Feb 2020 and I will be lucky if get invited for another year or so.

So, It's not like one day before ?? Minimum is a week ? Is it notified via email or mail ?

I just did my oath ceremony as well, my journey has finally come to the finish.
