Hi Guys. I have a question. If for some reasone they found that your application is misrepresented.
What would happen? would they deport you? or ban you from coming to canada? or just reject your application? and can you reapply?

Application will be rejected and banned for 5 years. They should do it for life if you ask me.

Always here looking to help.

2 year ban - not 5 years.

check item # 6, changed from 2 to 5 years. This became law in 2013.

Ah - my bad. That's for the correction. I think that's a good change. Even with this increase, Canada is still very relaxed when it comes to bans. Misrepresentation is a life-time ban in the US.

It states in that document
Individuals would receive a five-year inadmissibility period for misrepresentation as well as a five-year ban on re-applying for permanent resident status.

Regulatory changes are needed to implement this authority.
So it seems that clause is not yet in operation.
