Misrepresentation?

Hope you guys can shed a light on my case.

I got an email from ICES saying that the email from my university (for confirming my degree) is fraudulent and they are going to report this to CIC. I already applied, but I haven't used this diploma since I had enough points. I wonder if I should write to CIC or there is no hope?

Did the university send the transcript to ices from their email domain? How can it be fraudulent? Ask your university to contact ices again.

Unfortunately they'll be reporting it for sure. But why did this happen, did your Uni do something wrong?

Meanwhile, I wonder if I should write to CIC instead of dealing with ICES. Of course, they already see that I haven't used the degree. I wonder how serious of an issue this is.

It is pretty serious if something fraudulent did indeed happen.
