Misplaced COPR,test in two weeks @glen Erin Mississauga

Hi frnds
I need help regarding my list copr,as I m going for test soon,replacement will take at least 6 months,,if I m able to sit in test,,do I really need it for oath,,or it's gonna delay my case,,got request for fingerprints in jan/2013,n test date in march 2013,,

Hi,

I had a similar issue and did not have the document for my test however i was allowed to do the test and provided old copies of the document as well copies of the replacement request to CIC.

She did not make a big deal out of it but told me to make sure i have it for the Oath and i remember during my Oath ceremony, some people did not have it and were only made to sign a document.

I would suggest you apply for a replacement ASAP so as to have it ready for your Oath but again, it doesn't seem they make a big deal out it. They give it back to you anyways

Thanx twiggy,,so u got urs on oath,,,,even if I order one now,it's gonna take 6 months,,so I will b able to go for oath???

I happened to get mine before my Oath but again, they wont prevent you, they will just ask to sign a document. All the best !!!

Than. A lot twiggy ,,actually I was preparing for test, n meantime searching everywhere,, I m gonna order replacement,,, do u have any idea that even after signing that doc , I hav to wait to get citizenship ,, or it's like sum kind of procedure on side, I mean sumthing xtra for ppl without copr

It wont impact you in anyway. on your Oath day, you will be asked if you have any document missing and sign some sort of form but your oath will go ahead and you will be given your certificate. No one was denied taking their oath as far as i know so Relax and prepare for your test and just order a replacement. All the best !!!

Thanx ,a lot twiggy for ur reply,,actually I found it yesterday,,now preparing for test ,,,just mixing up years n ppl names,just practicing that,,any idea about test question related to history,,cuz it seems so confusing ,,as per discover canada book,, thanks again
