Hi guys, I am filling my daughter's application. I have the English translation of her birth certificate which was stamped from the Ministry of Justice (Kuwait) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kuwait). I used the same translation for PR application. I'm just wondering if I can use the same translation?
Also, If I can use the same translation, should the photocopy of the translation a True Copy ?

Another question is, I have a slightly different spelling in my own Birth Certificate. I attached an affidavit from my home country and explain it in LOE in PR application. Can I still use the same affidavit or should be a new one?

Thanks in advance.

You can use the same translation copy provided that you can show original one at the time of interview.

If IRCC accepted your birth certificate previously then use the same in order to be consistent. Changing it again will make things more complicated.

Thanks Arsal.
For the next question, can I use the same affidavit for name's spelling variation in my birth certificate and educational records I used in PR application but it was prepared from home country and has the home country address.

I think it doesnt matter if the affidavit is from the home country as your birth certificate and educational docs are also from home country. Usually Pakistan affidavit is stamped saying "Notarized to take effect all the countries of the world as per international law. So it should be fine as IRCC already accepted it in the first place at the time of PR application.

Hi Arsal, Silly question, I noticed that affidavit has the CNIC number and the old (expired) passport number I hope it wouldn't cause any issue?

Hello all, We sent Canadian citizenship application but sent photocopy of birth certificate (for minors) instead of true copy with original translation. Will it be a problem?
Thanks
