Minor Student Under 17

[UBC 2017]

Does a minor student under 17 going to university need a medical when applying for a study permit?
I looked every where , couldn't find a direct answer.
Any help is much appreciated.

Depends on your country of origin. It has nothing to do with your age.

Thanks for the quick reply , I am Lebanese born in UAE , I never spent more than six months anywhere outside UAE, still not sure , in the online eligibility tool it was not mentioned as a requirement. However , I will apply and wait to see if they ask for it or not since my program is 4-5 years as mentioned in the acceptance letter.
