Thanks for your kind reply.Regarding my decision to renounce mine and my wife pr is to get multiple entry 10 year visitor visa so that when my child will get travel document at age of 18, we can accompany her to canada. Is it the correct action now.

I am not too sure however if you renounce your PR then your minor child's PR would be renounced too.

No. It will result with your kid's PR status also being revoked.
