The main purpose of you being in Canada is for you to be a successful student so you’ll have to show how that will be possible as the single mom with 3 children.

Yes but your family in general will have to show that you have the extra income with just him working to provide for the living costs for 4 people in Toronto, your studies, his living expenses, childcare expenses which will be one of the biggest issue depending on the age of your children. If you have a child in daycare that could be easily 2K per month in some regions. Hard to say when you will hear back. It is quite variable but you have lots of time.
