hi everyone. Im paid 10 per hour x44hrs per week since 2009. I told my employer now that the minimum wage is 10.25. She told me that she cant make the adjustment until i finish the contract next yr. Is it not mandatory that she follow the current wage irregardless of the contract? I am not asking for a raise , i just told her my rights .but sad to say, they just want to get more than what they are giving me and i am on the losing end coz they can choose to release me.
