you see, low level colleges do not require ielts. Good universities/colleges require ielts as part of their application. And, they exempt those applicants who have done their schooling in English medium, like O/A levels etc
what are you going to study at college? what have you done earlier academically?
Please answer this. Then I will advise you further.
because 6.0 is not a good ielts score if you are going to persue Graduate studies.
It might be acceptable if you are going to persue undergrad studies.
I personally think if you have not done your schooling in O/A levels then you must submit your ielts score it will create a good impression on your file - it will suggest to VO that you can study and survive in an English speaking country. How would he or she know that you have adequate language competency in order to understand your lectures at college and communicate with your professors. IELTS is for that.
IELTS is not listed on their checklist but to be on the safer side you must put it alongwith your application.
