Hi All,

Happy New Year. This is my first post in the forum. My wife is travelling onsite to Toronto for 1 year under work permit which generally gets extended for subsequent 2 years. I am now deciding to apply for PR under express entry. I would like to know which option would be better in CIC portal whether to choose migrating alone or migrating with spouse.

Regards,
Saurabh

Thanks for your reply.
Including her in the profile won't hit my chances at the express entry, right?
Also if I include her she would also have to give ielts isn't it?

only primary applicant is required to produce IELTS results so depends..your chance may increase since she holds a job in canada and also has a work permit granted

i second raghavi's answer. on top of it i suggest you calculate both your crs scores. if your wife scores higher, make her the primary applicant. this will make her a FSW Inland applicant. This does not add too much weight to the process itself though.

Nishant.
