thanks in advance for your advice!!

my daughter's middle name is misspelled on Ecas. (my husband is sponsoring me, and my two-year-old daughter).

it's just one letter left off the end of her middle name.

what can i do?

thank you!

Can u call the mississauga(helpline) and report this . I am not sure what else u can do but if u can call and see what they say..

good luck

call them and fix it

This happened to us - my husband's middle name (he's the principal applicant) was also missing the last letter. But I think it might just be their electronic system, his name was spelt correctly in our letter so I didn't think it was anything to worry about. But definitely call them if you're worried.

thanks, y'all!

CowTownGirl: maybe there's a limit to how long a middle name can be on Ecas. my daughter has a nine-letter middle name.

Bingo, it won't fit that is the reason.

Mine was just wrong, but I noticed the problem in e-CAS and pre-emptively wrote Buffalo a letter. I don't know if it was the letter or simply reading my file again that caused them to correct my name.

Mine was wrong too... I just left it... but I wasnt the one being issued the visa :P

Oddly though, it was spelt wrong on e-cas, but all correspondence was correct.
