Hi Experts & Experienced Guys,

Request if you can help me with some suggestions.

My wife has her PR card with her father's name as middle name, she went to India and had to change her middle name from father's to mine in order to get the kids passports (Country Law). Now my concern is will she be questioned at the Indian or Canadian airport/flight officials for the difference in her middle name on PR card and new passport. (her last name remains the same) She will be carrying her old passport which has her fathers name, marriage certificate and an affidavit stating that both are the same persons. Is anything else required like changing name on PR card from India or anything else.

If anyone was in same boat or know someone who was kindly share your views, much appreciated.

There shouldnt be an issue. Just have her carry the documents you said she has (affidavit, and marriage certificate) and if the Canadian customs/immigration officer at the airport requests proof, she can provide them the additional documents.

She should have zero problems checking in for a flight since she only needs to show her passport.

Thanks for the reply Ceimi, but at Indian immigration check they do ask for the PR card, my only concern is if Indian immigration officers don't create an issue out of this.
