Hello Guys!

Somebody in the other forum posted that he received just recently medical and PPR requests at the same time from London CHC. He is under the fast tracks system. I don't know if I'm missing something, but as per my monitoring this is the first time I know about medical and PPR at the same time issued by London CHC. This usually happens to New Delhi Applicants but not with London CHC. Is this something new? If so, I guess this is a good news especially those who have been waiting for medicals for almost 7 months like me..

Do you know of anyone else from London CHC who have the same case?

Regards.

Aspire, you are not alone i'm waiting for more than 8 months for Medical. I've also read that someone receive the medical and PPR altogether but in cases they return the passport blank and later after two months request it again.

I believe the usual sequence of Med + 2 months for PPR + 2 months for stamping is all same.

Hi Aspire & Biblo,

It's not always like that. Yes, sometimes the CHC would like to see the pps & return it back, But with the 'fast track' system many have got the Meds & PPR 'together' lately.

In such a case, their pps were stamped with Visa & only thereafter returned. U may like to see the cases of 'Sharma77' & 'Calgirl'. both from CHC-ND, got their Meds+PPR in one go & received their visas after 'just' a month of sending their pps. Moreover, there r quite a few recently from other CHCs as well.

Regards.

Biblio,

The case that I was referring to is that the applicant got the medical forms together with a letter where CIC asked the applicant to submit the passport 30 days after doing the medical exams. It further stated in bold letters saying not to wait for a separate letter for PPR. In this case, I think the passport request was for visa stamping, of course if there is no problem found with the medical. I got no reply from the questions I had asked from him, but based on his previous post, He applied under QSW.

Just hope for the best Biblio. For all we know the reason why it took so long for us to receive the medical request is that because BC's and SC's are done simultaneously with our respective cases.

Wish you all the best.

Hi Biblio,

What's up with your case. Do you have any update. Had you ever ordered CAIPS for your file? What's your BFD? I just got mine, and BFD is March 25, 2011?? VEry frustrating...

Dear Biblo

Very much appreciated idea. Can I suggest you and all visitors to discus all offices in/for the middle east i.e. NOT only London BUT offices such as Damascus, Cairo etc.
Also one important point. Can I suggest you all to discuss all cases for both federal and Québec selected skilled immigrants.

We all have different experiences we really need to share it !

Please correct me if am wrong!

What do you think then?

All the best

Dear Aspire,
Seems my case is not encouraging as yours. I sent an email (e-case) inquiry to CHC-London in January and received a clear response from them, that not to contact them unless they ask me to do so.

They must be posting the new fast track processing time on their website in February. I wonder what average and maximum time line they'll state as there are lot of applicants like me and you who applied since 2008 and are waiting for medicals let alone passports.

May god help us to be patience.

Hi Satish,

you will receive your Medical request by the end of this month or first week of march as I know after receiving AOR within 2 month ( it could be 1 month or less in some cases ) people got Med - Request from London. One of my friend he got within a month.

God luck

My application was put "in Process" on 25 Jun 2009 but no trace of it afterwards. Reply to query (12 Dec) from CHC London. "File awating Officer Review". I do not know what it means? Has the file not been reviewed before putting in process? Any comment or similar case.

We are on the same boat friend, mine was put "in process" on July 31, 2009. Two weeks ago I received reply from London CHC and they said my file is waiting for officer review. I ordered CAIPS and found out that I passed the paper screening (PSDEC 1). I do not know what kind of review still is to be done after e cas status said "full application review was completed and is found eligible for processing". Please give this thread an update in case you will get any development with your case.
