Hello Everybody!

I send my initial phase of application on 26th of June. CIC received it in 2nd of July and yet i am not getting any response? Does anybody have any idea when will i get the response?

I checked my email kane but there isn't any new mail? Was there any useful information? Is there any medium where we can query about our application? I think after 90 days we can write email to CIC to know the status of our application? Do you have any kind of email where we can forward our things?

I have been checking with my consultant on daily basis... Its been 60+ days for my case..

I just call from my consultant saying received File number .. here's the details..

Application dispatched : 9th July 2009
Application received : 22nd July 2009
Received AOR/File Number : 15th Sep, 2009
No of days : 68 days.

I have a same case like yours. I send my application on 26th of June and it reached NS, Sydney on 2nd of July. Yet i haven't got any information about my first phase of application. I check my bank as well to make sure about my dd on mid of August and till that time my draft wasn't cashed. In your message i found that your consultant contact somewhere else to find your status. If possible could you please ask them where they called so that i can called to get the information about my application. Could you please help me Mdarji?

My case is of 16th June and Yet no reply,
I am also using consultant,

Consultants must be CSIC so they can access our files from CIO
(meanining they can ask for the status of our case)

It has 92 days and still no replies,

Hi Dipesha

I didn't use consultant. I did it in my own. Is there anyway i can know about the status of my application? I think after 90 days we can query about our application when you applied for student visa or visitor visa but don't know about the PR application process. I am worried as well. If you have any information about the checking the status of application please do let me know.

Well if you are in canada you can call their TOLL FREE number
I dont think u are in canada,

So the only way that i know is to write a letter to

I completely agree with Dipesha1..

bindha - What I mentioned in my comment is - My consultant has received file number for the application filed on 9th july on behalf of me... they didn't call anybody.. Its just CIC who responded them after 68 days of filing.. The visa office is Nova Scotia, syndney.

btw, if you have file you case your own it should be fairly easy to track your case...Here's the things you can do in order starting with application packet sending :
1. Confirm through carrier, whether your application package sent to correct visa office and whether reached safely or not.
2. Check with your bank whether your DD has encashed or not within 30 days after your application has been reached.. (well nowadays it take even more time infact due to backlog...)
3. If DD has been encashed then you can consider atleast your application has been opened.. So expect response from CIC within 60-70 days of AOR.. (In some cases they have taken 71 or 80 days so you never know..)
In all terms please keep patience, you will surely hear something positive soon.. Good luck and All the best.....

Yeah... I was bit worried about that.. but finally have received File number..

btw.. when I entered my file number on CIC website (case status online).. it simply says "Application received".. Does that mean they still need to check for Elgibility review compleness ?

meanwhile I will check with my consultant that with file number what all things they received.. they have mentioned that they have received one complete package so I'll have to see what's inside...
