Hello frnds,
I n my family hav compltd med. on 10th of this month and docs were submitted on 14th in Delhi. In addition I also took 2 days training in CIIP Delhi which is really very useful for new immigrants. Can anybody tell me by which date my Passports are expected to get back a/w decision.

Can we take CIIP training after the Visa is issued, Even I have submitted my Passport in the last week of July, and in the 1st week of August I got a letter from NDVO requesting for a DD for Correct amount, (as I have wrongly calculated the Fee), I was surprised to see the quick response from NDVO, hoping that they will issue Visas to all of us very soon.

I had sent a CSI in february 2013 and I got reply today after 6 months.

Now my Medicals is done, RPRF is encashed and they have requested passports in july which I have already sent still they gave me following reply.

"This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi .
Under Canada 's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case."

I believe background checks are done after medicals and before PPR right? What does this reply mean? Does this mean it is a standard reply?

i sent them csq in oct last year and they gave me this regly on 29 jan 2013.then they issued mr on 12 march
