What is assessment for eligibility and selection decision mean?

Can i understand as follow (please correct me if i am wrong)? It means every MI2 applicant is within the 529 applicants ( total number) that application was be sent VO Singapore office for process ? And every body who got RBVO ( like us) is within the list of 478 applicants who are selected for decision ( but not get into processing yet). And 44 is the number of people who were got the final decision ( whether approved or rejected) for period from JUNE 2010 to JUNE 2011.
Hope your explanation is right.... [all RBVO are in a process (not IP)]...

Hope 2011 , pls mention your source of information about SVO

SGVO receivs high volume of applicants yet the visa target is low, hence the queque is long and it takes longer time. Also SGVO never bothers to consider our waiting pain >:(

Your ME is on the way, 3152 is on the fast track, so kind of wondering why it takes you so long. But anyway now no worries, just wait for the ME! All the best!

Dear fellows,
I am one among all of you and my VO is Singapore.

On 11th April 2011, I got my 1st PER, in June 2011, it was RBVO and then exactly after 1 year on 12th April 2012 , my application status changed from RBVO to In Process and after a few days, another line was added mentioning that the processing started on ...April, 2012.

So things are moving and I hope the same would be reflected on all of you soon.

Best wishes

Congrats first…. Then if you don’t mind do IELTS score because somebody guesses those IELTS score on the base line (any module) they are suffering with RBVO… VO neither rejects them nor include in process… Do you think it’s a factor for IP in SGVO…?

First of all, congratulations to you, Mr. Rana. As far as I know you are the first MI-2 7216 applicant change from RBVO to IP. I hope SGVO can act faster, we are all waiting far too long.

All the best and keep in contact!

Hi, I think the base line would be around IELTS 5? BTW, where do you get this info? Thanks.

Skilled Worker Inventory as of January 06, 2012 (Cases)
FSW : MI-2
MI-2 : Appl. Rec'd between June 26, 2010 and June 30, 2011
Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total

Beijing 2 45 215 262
Hong Kong 1 32 145 178
Manila 0 19 270 289
New Delhi 88 935 983 2,006
Singapore - RPC 7 478 44 529

From this figure it looks like SGVO has quite a number of applications still pending for their final decision.

Thanks for nice post. Me also same boat. PER received on March-2011, from April ecase shows RBVO. My NOC-4152. That means my application in 478. Is it true if any module in basic application will be held?? I am not agree with this term because if not match they should reject. When will get further news??

You are welcome. I am not so sure of the meaning of all those terms, but I also feel I am in that 478, let's keep fingers crossed that SGVO will work on our cases soon. For the IELTS issue, I really have no idea, although heard of rejection cases when IELTS score 4.

When SGVO starts moving? No one knows, all we can do is to keeping our fingers crossed. All the best!
