I am silent reader of this forum since march 2013

Finally my The Day has come "i got my visa along with copr"

At this moment also its unbelieveable that am immigrant along with my family i.e spouse n daughter.

Thanks to qoran n entire forum members for givibg .virtual support .

just found something new and thanks for supporitng timeline sharing :

no travel history - 25 days visa issued (for those who get ppr separately)
with travel history - 55 days ( this is for those who will get mr+rprf+ppr together)
with travel history - 25 days (for those who get ppr separately)

above is my observation from most of cases & as said its always hard to predict ndvo working style

hope we all get ppr & pl join in those on same boat.. helps us to analyse better

extensive travel history requires clearance foss clearance from respective countries u visited, not all countries are equipped with automatic clearance - i mean computerized. countries transmitting manual clearance to chc eats up all the time.

for now relax and wait for things to work out - (in my experience it should take 3-5 months) if u get early then all by luck.

what exactly means by clearance? eg if fbi clear report submitted for US travel and stay - and again they do an clearance in this?
or what exactly it means? members pls. help...

security clearance is done by CSIS, a agency based in canada who screens the security and admissibility issues of applicants. usually it takes 4-6 weeks for their clearance. also could depend case-to-case.

FOSS - PCC- FBI - INTERPOL - ETC - manual clearance from countries visited - accordingly all culminiated by CSIS - reported to CHC - **this is a serious time consuming process**
Pray God you are lucky to be in this stage as comapred to many others. Its just a matter of time. count days and be excited.. As Hiteshdand stated it is case to case specific and timeline differs

Any body have any idea how much time it may take for "clearance" on PAKISTAN travel for 7 days??

depends on how immigration is formed in pakistan - if it is computerized, much quicker.

manual - takes time,

no one knows.
