How many days will it take to get passports back after decision made. Its been almost a week. My decision made was on 17th.

hi,

some times,VO ask both current/valid PP and old/expired passport along with MR or ppr2....some times only current PP.we could not predict this exactly...so its better to complete the formalities...

if you are currently in india,

1)pls lodge a complaint in the nearest police station ...and get a FIR/lost certificate from them..
2)prepare an affidavit about the same from First class judicial magistrate/Govt of India Notary
3)publish an advertisement regarding loss of old passport in one or two national daily(local language and english)

these three documents is need to submit(for justification) in VO ,if they ask for old passport

hope this will suffice ur requirement..

with gods grace i have received a call from my consultant today afternoon that i got my visa and landing papers.hope remaining applicants waiting for passport to get soon.thank you my timeliness as follows. application filed march 31 2010 1st aor received June 3rd 2010 and 2nd aor received september 30 2010 in process on Feb. 22 12,medical request Jan 29 2013,DM 19 march 2013,visa 22march 2013.thank you

My status is DM.. How many days to get passports back.

One more thing my address has not changed yet. I have heard address changes to the province you have applied in.
Is changing address on Ecas is mandatory for positive result. I am little confused/worried I hope its approval only.
My passports were sent 8months ago along with Medicals & RPRF.

These are the last 2 lines in my Ecas

Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

i am nd visa office applicant..sent medicals and ppts in december 2012..done resubmission of daughter's ppt on 22 feb 2013..
i got decision made status on 19 march...have not got anything uptil now...when can i expect my ppts back with visa...

Is there any specific observation in this forum regarding re-submission of child's passport.

Considering that the ultimate aim is to have the child's picture in the passport matches his/her current looks, is there any timeline regarding how old passport can be considered valid

Eg : If the passport was done when kid was 3 months old, will it still be considered valid if the passport is submitted for stamping when the kid is almost 15 months old? Or will there be a re-submission request in this case?

Mine was also same case as yours .. no issues .. VISA will be issued...
