I got the email asking for Proof of Funds. This needs to be submitted within 45 days.

My perception is that they want to check that whether clients are equipped with sufficient funds to move to Canada if they issue visa immediately.Its more than 3 yrs we have disclosed POF and of course CAD rates are gone high

Other than POF clients are requested to update medical examination records and child's updated passports with latest photo.

So be ready like you are in war front. But its positive that changes are happening in cases.

Lets hope 4 the best.

Do you have any idea why updated Proof of funds are required by chc ND

Because of less or wrong amount of funds shown in initial application ???
or Because of increase in C$ rate from RS.44 (in 2010) to Rs.54 (in 2013)?

I feel that you should apply for new passport for appearance change
It will not take more time as Police clearance is not required in your daughter's case
It will also be positive that your daughter's Passport will get additional period of validity

Just curious, her appearance has not changed much..just that now she has longer hair..that's it. I don't know why but I am bit reluctant to apply for new PP ( with new photograph). To add my daughter is one year younger than my son, so what do you suggest for him as well. Its really very tough time going around.

Do not get new passport , as facial features do not change , under any circumstances CHC will never ask you for a fresh travel document , but they require fresh photo
. They are dam experts.

I think new passport is not required at this time.....If you receive instruction from VO, then you can go for it..it will not take more than 2-3 days...

Now it's clear that they are issuing visas for June/July MR cases and issuing MRs for remaining applicants....and asking POF for November 2012 MR cases....

Remaining November 2012 MR applicants, be ready for visas...
