dear all i have been to Canada many times before the submission of application. I have still not made up my mind that i am going to become permanent resident. i still consider it as another trip, which is wrong. Actually its becoming difficult to really believe that we have to settle there leaving our parents, family and friends.
Now i have seen people worried about finding jobs and getting financially established in new country. Guys as a sincere forum members i have an advise for u all. If u do not find jobs which is difficult as they do not consider our experience and qualification there is no need to get frustrated. why not to become entrepreneur. why not to take a deep plunge and start our own business. let me share my story with u. i was a financial manager. Resigned from the organization and started my own business. guys believe me worked hard and started exporting fruits&vegetables in Saudi Arabia and Canada. Toronto is a huge market and has alot of demand for Pakistani mangoes, citrus, guava and rice as well. invested only few bugs and got orders in Canada for mangoes, citrus and rice. I would have never planned to migrate on the basis of my job and qualification because they do not consider our credentials. Now inshalla going to register my company in Canada as the market has been established.
secondly HADITH by Rasool PAk(SAW),"jiss mulk(country) may Adal or Insaaf khutam hoo jaiy wahan say hijrat ker lanee chiyay". hijrat may bohat barkat hey. Now u all know the condition of adal o insaaf in our country. Politics, Rishwat, the squabble over money, power, ideology and sectarian issues. so u all have at least peace of mind for ur family in Canada. Trust Allah he surely will pave the way for ur success inshalla.
so guys had alot to write but nasir jamshed out hoo giaya hey. ha ha ha . wish u all the best :).

Yes.. you are quite right mzb.. in places like canada, america.. entreprenuers do quite well.. what is great for all new immigrants is, that there is already a large pakistani community there.. so in many ways.. you have a lot of advantages to start a business geared towards your own community.. and everyone there says.. you must give yourself two years.. two years of hard struggle and adjustment.. they say everyone settles down by the end of two years..
our main reason for doing this is for our children.. not just for better lifestyle or nicer jobs.. so i think we should keep that in focus and inshallah, every struggle will become easy.

Dear Forum Members,

You can see the progress of my case on left side. Since March 2012 once I submitted my RPRF, PCC, MR, Travel History and Updated Form, I did not hear anything from CIC.
Since then I sent my first CSI three days back and got this reply today about 15 minutes ago.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your message. Please be advised that the above file is currently undergoing routine background checks and you will be advised if any additional information is required.

I know its a generic reply, and mostly those with sent MR in Jan and Feb 2012 applicants are getting PPR1, very few March 2012 have PPR1. And I feel I need to wait for few more months.
Can anyone comment what this reply acutally means for me?

Anyone else who VO is NMP? Can someone comment about him/her?

Thanks for your replies and suggestions.

Hello. We are under NMP too. In my observation, NMP's reply are always a one liner or a brief one, straight to the point or generic. We sent CSE to him/her re:MR details but the answer was do the meds. We then scouted for answers on this forum and asked the DMP for answers. Did you get your PPR1 now?

By the grace of Allah Almighty, I just received the PPR2 today.

Hi,

yes leaving behind parents and family is very much challenging. Parents are encouraging us to leave pakistan because they care for their children. we are going to leave because we care for our children. the cycle goes on.

however

1. we can promise to ourselves today that we are going to visit them back in home country once or twice a year at least. if not possible one or two members of family (including children) can visit alternatively.
2. we will always take this thing in mind that we will inshAllah be able to sponsor them for supper visa very soon.
3. we should believe that Allah will take care of them and they will remain healthy.

how? it is not for us to think. we just have to do 'Niyyat' . rest Allah will do.

My 88 years old grandmother is leaving for Canada coming Tuesday. My brother sponsored her 5 years back. she is as enthusiastic as 25 years old man to visit him.

Have good faith and everything will be fine inshAllah.

best regards

Blessing

I know exactly what you mean.. we have been worried most of all for our parents.. since my husband's parents havent travelled much and dont have any assets and are retired.. don't know if they will ever get the visit visa..
and the grandparent super visa is quite impossible to get for new immigrants since that has so many conditions and a family of four needs to have an income of 42000$ per annum at least to sponsor their parents for that. Our parents are aging and in the next few years will have to be taken care of.. But seeing how bad things are in the country.. we have to do this for our kids.. Its a hard choice to make.
