Just wanted to check,

What dose "Medicals have been received" line in e-case actually mean

Does it mean
1. You have cleared your medicals
2. You back ground checks are over
3. Your file will be once again analysed to decide about interview call
4, You application is ready for a passport request

I will appreciate the comments from Seniors

Just an indication that your medical reports and reviewed by the panel.

I sent a CSE a few minutes ago and got a reply within 1 minute. This is the reply:

Background checks remain outstanding at present. We hope that these will be completed with one month, but this is an estimate only.

What do you guys make of it. There is even a grammatical mistake in it, or maybe it's a typing error. Anyways, I don't know whether to be glad or sad....

I have lived in three countries: Saudi Arabia, Ireland, and UK. But many applicants have lived outside Pakistan, and they seem to move at an ok pace. I have made a lot of short trips around the world, but Jim Humphries, a retired visa officer on another forum told me short trips don't cause delay.

Assalaam O Alaikum Friends,
I have a question, if some body can guide. I had my medical in March 2012 and waiting for PPR1 just as you people. Question is, if I leave my current job, will this affect my case at this stage. I want to leave the job and want to do some freelance work.
Also, what documents do they ask at the stage of PPR1, do we need to mention the current job at this stage or at the PPR2 level.

Thanks
relax and no worries. i left my job before my medicals. now i have received my PPR1. so dont worry.

Dear using which mode you sent the CSE? I mean did you send the email to some address or you used the chc london web forum for your query. Mine and your NOC is same, and my visa officer is also MCH. I have received two emails from this guy in response to my CSE. But normally i get the reply after several days.

Yes, of course. What is your question? Or alternatively, you can join the forum on britishexpats.com and send a PM to Jim Humphries to get your answers. He is very helpful if your question is a valid one.

The last couple of CSEs I received a reply on the 3rd day or thereabouts. Only this time it was really quick. A minute passed, and I had a reply. I used the direct email address, not the web form. However, in the subject I did write MCH following my file number.
