same as here..background checks going on..medicals in April..........I am kind of losing hope ...!

This delay is common, people are getting PPR1 now who have done medicals in Nov/Dec 2011, last week we have seen Nov 2011 to May 2012 medicals getting PPR1and it includes MI 1 april medical applicant as well, so they are processing all the cases and every case is different. Positive thing is that processing is going on and at a much better speed than last years.

I agree with Khalid. Many people are getting PPR1 request since the start of July. Others are getting MR. So speedy work. Good for all of us.

I hope you are right, because if I don't get PPR till August, I think I might , I don't know....shoot myself or something?

I agree, I am sure they have more free time with no new applications.

Nothing will propel their pace. Sorry to sound pessimistic, but have you seen any MI1 with meds Jan/Feb/March get PPR till now? Almost none. I don't see light at the end of the tunnel at all. In my worst nightmares I see the expiry of meds with no PPR!!!

I did send a CSE but it was the same reply.....'waiting for completion of BC'.....no idea really what it is that they are checking, really. It's like tailors in Pakistan who give you a pickup date 6 weeks away, and only really tailor the clothes two days ahead of the date they have given you.
Sigh.

my question is that

DOes any one else got the same reply after back ground check
is it in routene that after BG check IO reviews the file
and how long this review will take

guys the wait is just killing and frustrating isnt it

Yes It's soooooo frustrating since you feel like you are almost there but still you are not.......and there is this fear in your heart what somethngs goes wrong Godforbid............ I think they just want to stretch it to the end of this year ........!!! Why cant they do the background checks before the medicals......*sigh*...
