Apply for spousal sponsorship on 10/16/2020 outside of Canada. I already had my medical exams done and I passed them on 12/16/2021. Is there anyone in this group who is waiting as long as I am?

We applied September 2019, transferred to Mexico VO in Dec 2019, passed Medicals in Feb 2020 and then didn't hear anything until April 2021. Our file was transferred to Port of Spain and now we are scheduled for an interview in Feb 2022. I think there are still quite a few people waiting as long and longer than you unfortunately.

This is from my experience, my application passed the year and I never received an update, so I asked for the notes and surprise I was waiting for an interview, they never informed me.

For me, they told me when I sent a webform to Mexico. I asked them to change the address, and they said our app is now in Sao Paulo.
I later saw it in the GCMS notes as well. It seems like they will not notify you (at least they didn't notify me in any way).

Is there anyone else whose application is stuck in security? Received GCMS notes and no interview required, everything passed July 30 except security which has been in progress for 8 months. MP called and getting same answer. Last time tracker updated was August 2021. Mexico not responding to webform.
