Here you can search for your MP and their info based on your postal code. I'm assuming you are over one year? They won't help you if not. Just tell them when you applied and that you would like their help and go from there. Right now all they can probably do is check the status of your application given that you are over that year mark. Good luck!!
Hey thanks! Yeah its been a year for me I contacted them last week. They called me back and said security check is left. They are apparently having a hard time figuring out where he lived when he was 18. Does not make sense since he has lived at the same place his whole life.

This is assuming you can find a flight that will get you to Canada. I am guessing since most of us here have spouses in the Caribbean or Mexico none of this really matters since they can't get to Canada anyway (at least until after April 30th, and even then the airlines didn't restart flying to St Lucia until November in 2020).

Theoretically they could travel through the US but would need to get a US travel visa etc. which for my spouse at least isn't possible since there isn't a US consulate in St Lucia.

I don't really need to worry about this because the chances of getting approval in the next few months is so slim but in our case and other smaller islands that's not a possibility. There aren't flights between St Lucia and Mexico for example, everything routes to St Lucia through Canada, UK and US. Just unlucky for us.

Things change fast .... we never know. Just making me realize i was right saying october november and a bit of december was the "window of opportunity" for IRCC. That's when the 2nd wave of covid appeared to be generalized.

Glad i've been in that group of selection that has made her entered in November, cause i feel the restrictions will stand for a long while

Hello can someone help me with contacting my MP. What have you guys said in the email? How do I find my MP? I don’t know what to do anymore plus Justin Trudeau just banned all Caribbean flights until April 30. Thanks!
Total nightmare i hear things being put in place for everything except for reuniting families.

Today I got a response from Mexico saying my file has received and not be reviewed yet, I don’t know what that means? Bec the last couple messages I receive from them and my Mp said my file is pending to be reviewed for eligibility by a officer. I did medical, bio and everything just waiting on the last step and today they send me this message. I literally going crazy, I haven’t seen my wife is such a long time. We are October 2019 application
