Yeah this is not right. No wayyy. And especially when lots of people are going through roxham road still. What is happening in this Mexico office is a complete crime. We should really get some attention on this. In no way is this even remotely compassionate or humanizing

Mine didnt even go to Mexico but what I have been reading is not acceptable. Some apps from June 2020 already getting ppr. Meanwhile others from 2018 waiting without even a message or update, completely unacceptable.

Good morning we started spousal sponsorship in feb 2019. My husband landed dec 12 2020,. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, i promise. Here is our time line. I am in ontario and he is from Trinidad

Hi when you did the medical in Trinidad were you required to upload the results or was this done automatically

Have you received your notes yet? I ordered my notes end of November and haven't received anything back. Beyond frustrated!

So I got my notes today and they still have not even touched my file. I submitted in Dec 2019 and the last time they opened it was February 2020. It doesn’t look like I will be seeing my husband any time soon. I’m so disappointed I understand with everything that is happening it’s harder for them, but to not even open the application for a year that’s just wrong.

My application has been in Mexico for 13 months now and still waiting on eligibility approval. I send them one web form every week bec we been waiting seen 2019.
They responded to my web form saying it’s with a officer for eligibility approve. How long does that take? I am keeping faith we all get through soon

That's good news! Ours has been in Mexico since Dec 2019 and our most recent update is still that it's waiting for eligibility review. It has never been touched by anyone in the Mexico office.

Same here. December 2019. Waiting for eligibility review. Let’s hope and stay positive. No point obsessing now.

Did you have to send passport to Mexico? Or did Trinidad process visa and issue COPR? my file is being transferred to Mexico... so just inquiring.. my husband is from Trinidad

Sounds to me like they are just trying to gather time for an unknown reason , maybe doing an investigation ? , What does your RP says about all this ? i would def involve him in the process to see what's going on
