nope

Congratulations to you. My patience is running thin.
I understand. And I also know that there is nothing that can be said to take the anxiety away. All I can say is hang in there.

Thank you so much. My timeline is in my profile.

All communication from IRCC recently stressed their limitation in work on paper-based applications in Mexico, I wonder if those who recently got the PPR were online applications or by mail.

Thanks

Awesome news Mariana! So happy for you guys. I sure has been a long haul to get to this point. I have a question for you and mayber for Mitch5555 if he is still on here. Or anyone else that has received their COPR and passport and brought their spouse to Canada in the past couple of months.

Has anyone been told or applied for a travel exemption? We have been using a lawyer through this whole process. We have the passports back and the COPR and now my lawyer is saying that they are applying for a travel exemption. I have not yet asked what this is for as I wanted to ask this forum first.

My understanding with COVID is that our spouses are allowed to come to Canada once they have the COPR. Am I wrong in that?

Thanks,
Jeff
Yay ! You don’t need any travel exemption email Jeff this is actually for the unmarried couples boyfriend and girlfriend, fiancé.

But us we are exempt is in Canada website, your partner needs to show of course wedding certificate, passport copy of sponsor,quarantine plan, passport and of course COPR here is link;

It is not necessary. Your spouse is already exempt from the travel ban. We did not have to apply for anything.

We did not have to show a quarantine plan or marriage certificate. Simply fill out the arrive can app. You also don't need the copy of your spouse passport. I would suggest bringing these things to be safe but it was not necessary. Another member traveled with us also back to Canada and I don't believe they needed any of this. We needed COPR, passport and completed ArriveCan app. It also said to have a complete list of everything you bring to Canada along with the value. Good to have but they didn't ask for this even though the Canadian government says you must have this
