I think paperwork and processes that don't put you embassy and VAC office staff in contact with other people will continue. Our interview in Trinidad was cancelled when Trinidad & Tobago closed their borders - and I totally get that - but it's crushing nonetheless. The interview was supposed to be today - and today is my 50th birthday. :-(

Belated Happy Birthday!! :)

Mexico VO didn't explicitly say they are not processing PR applications when I asked them. They responded with a generic comment saying the consulate is only attending to emergencies.

Which Basically means they won't put any PPR nothing, just working on ppl that needs Visa on rush for a particular reason.

Wanting to share so news ... Monday my husband arrived in Canada!!!!!!!!!

I serve a BIG WONDERFUL GOD and He showed just how AWESOME HE truly is

My husband was supposed to fly out on March 30th. With the current COVID-19 situation, Punta Cana made the decision to close down the airport. We were able to get him on a flight last minute (the last flight of the day before they close down) and he arrived Monday.

Self isolating and we couldn’t be happier!

.. i'm at 13 months ... still on wait of CSQ too. it's a really harsh moment i'm living the same as you do.... we are almost all stuck in our country. Called at MIDI this week... our batch is "in process" , but i couldn't know any extra as in Date of completion, only info i got is they are working the same as usual.

And my trip plans were cancelling too , i was to leave next week *sigh*, but actually is better cause they are starting their crisis their on COVID-19 so all doctors has been asked to delay vacations, so we wouldn't have see each other , or almost zero.

I know you and I we both in the same boat my husband was suppose to come April 8 now cancelled he can’t even enter my country or leave .

Honestly, whenever they asked for something we got it in within a day or two. We prayed hard and I got my MP to find out stuff for us. But rest assured there’s no rhyme or reason to how they work. I have two friends who’s process was complete within three months.

they say that when your batch is shown , is 7-10 days after to receive the documents. So next week most likely...

Same here too we never made them wait long especially when they request stuff from us.
We’re christians so we pray a lot too and same our MP helps a lot too.
so I really hope we got ppr soon because we already got pre arrival already the very nex day after the interview was completed.

Guys I think I messed up. Me and hubs who’s the applicant had a misunderstanding and he sent an email 4days ago to cancel application. Then 1 day after he sent an email to disregard the message to cancel. Then 2 days later I sent an email to cancel application. Then I sent an email to not cancel application last night. We had a little fight and now are reconciled. You think they will cancel it? We’re June application. We really messed up eh?

Sponsorship is not a game , when they see signs like this.. its usually NOT for a "little fight" as you called it... its almost like asking the divorce as severe decision. I totally dont know how they will see this...it sure won't put IRCC in trust of the genuine. You dont cancel a sponsorship like that like as a "yoyo"...its proving them real instability in the couple.
