If you scroll down to the bottom on this page:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s/find-visa-application-centre.html#wb-auto-5

there is a list of the Visa offices. Click next to scroll through the list and you will see some offices listed as "Open with limited services" and other listed as closed. If there is nothing noted, it is open. Mexico is on page 10 and is still listed as open. Now, it is open for debate how up to date this page is. I don't have any info on that.

As other have posted, Mexico had a holiday yesterday and that could be the reason for thinking the Visa office was closed. Or maybe it is closed. Time will tell.

Is this Quebec applications only or all applications received at that time?

How do I find the date that my Husband's background check started processing?

PR resident and also Caribbean persons too will be allowed

For now, anyway ... lets hope Mexico gets their butts in gear and works on our applications so we can get this finished while the world is "closed". After all, the way things are now and I'm sure this will continue, is that you have to self-isolate/quarantine for 14 days after arriving.

If your partner is in Canada with accommodation, that's great but I would have to wait it out here in CR anyway ... can't afford to make any of my friends sick by putting us up until we find a place and I share a place in Vancouver that we can't self-isolate in!! I'm supposed to be back in Canada by June 4th ... wonder if I'll make it?
