My husband's medical expires beginning of March (we're Nov 2018 applicant). Do you think we'll have to redo ours as well?
I think you should email them everyday until you get a response about whether they will have your application completed prior to the medical expiring.

Congratulations!!!! I can feel your excitement
Thank you!!! Yes so excited because 19 months are no joke to get by,so very very happy it’s finally happening!

Eligibility shows as started since May 2019 in my case.... and now the only paper they need is CSQ it seems to complete the file. At least that's what they said..
Trust me order you notes after arrival or after interview and see all that was left out previous , it’s crazy the amount of information that was held back . Information that probably would have given me a better understanding at the times I really needed it .
I’m praying for all of you and rooting on the sidelines that you all get this done and over with soon xo

PR card ? its 3 weeks after entry.. no one have that before , so i don't get why ppl would need a return flight ticket to take a flight to Canada.

As long as your papers are legit and all there... you have your IMMIGRANT VISA as valid ... the local country shouldn't prevents you from taking your flight.

Qc you need CSQ and COPR.

Sometimes they do though... even in Canada!

One of my flights out of Vancouver about 5 years ago before my temporary residency in Costa Rica had completely processed an Air Canada agent asked for my return ticket (return to Canada, that is). I replied that I didn't have one yet, she asked how long I would be away and I said about 5 months or so and would purchase it at a later date. She was NOT going to allow me to board that flight without either a return ticket or a resident card for CR.

I told her I had a temporary resident status that was being processed but hadn't been completed until I went back to pick up the card. She wanted to see any document as proof. I had copies which were in my laptop, so she gave me a desk nearby and told me to find the documents. It took awhile cause I couldn't get onto the network at first, then couldn't find it right away, was getting panicked because I needed to be on the flight and it was getting too close to boarding time, etc. Finally found the documents and she showed her supervisor who accepted it and they let me go but had to get me a cart to get to the gate because I was so late.

I've traveled back and forth ever since June 18, 2013 approx. 4 flights per year most years and I've never been asked before or since for this, but that time she was very serious and not going to let me get onboard, so it CAN happen! :0

We received and sent the CSQ 2 weeks ago, everything else is already done, including the interview. My Question is, if anybody can comment on what is the next step and how long it takes to get the Passport Request, after the VO receives the CSQ ? Thank for your imput

Everyone who has interviews coming up, keep us posted on how it goes. It will be interesting to hear if you get an answer on the spot and how much longer you have to wait for a final response after the interview. We had our interview December 2, 2019 and my husband is still not here yet.

Special.... gonna take my infos with her airline company so , because to me that's totally stupid if you have a IMMIGRANT VISA (and COPR) that you have to book a round trip. (i mean it's clear that you don't have intention to go back , you did all the process on purpose for that new syart with your spouse)
