Hang in there guys, I don't know why mine was done so fast when there are people 6 months before me that aren't done yet. It's not fair, I'll admit. But stay strong, your day is nearly there.

My husband sent his passport to Mexico a month ago, does anyone know, do we ask the VFS or Mexico what is going on?
VFS says it was received on December 20th.
Are you kidding me !!!! I cant believe you still haven't got it back! Email Mexico VO and find out whats going on, I mean I understand they are busy but you are approved and awaiting the passport. URGH , I would email the Mexico VO and have your husband call the VFS office as they wont talk to you, dont stop until you have an answer.

My husband still has not received his back, my GCKey shows his file was approved and completed as of January 6, 2020. I have emailed Mexico and have heard nothing back and contact the Santo Domingo VAC and they said they don't have it back yet. So I have no clue what is going on.

My husband has to be in Canada before March 5: This is what just updated on the track your package:

The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. has been received from the IRCC Office on 2020/01/14 and has been dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre Mexico City. For further details, please contact the VAC helpline number or refer to our website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/DOMINICANREPUBLIC/

Country - Ecuador
3/15 applicant
10/28 transfer to MVO
11/21 ADR
12/05 Acknowledgement of ADR
1/10 DM on ECAS
1/15 PPR

These may be stupid questions and I'm not at this point yet but I'm curious to know...I am January 2019 applicant...
1. Does COPR get emailed to you or mailed out?
2. When they request your passport do you mail it to the visa office that is processing your application?

1. You get COPR when they send your passport back I believe.
2. They send you everything you need in the PPR email. We are sending giving our documents to the Quito VAC for them to send to Mexico City. Mexico City will send COPR back to them when they're finished, which my wife will pick up personally. We don't trust Ecuador mail.

lol tons of countries you shouldnt trust Post :)

Is a reason that now i don't send any stuffs in my wife's country... is always super long and they open EVERY package not sealing them back... is way too dangerous. They could easily introduce something in or stealing it directly... not much of ways to appeals in those countries.

Rather bringing them with me at airport and in my luggage. Gifts and all. (already been there 7 times)

Exactly. That's why my wife is turning everything in in person at the VAC and picking everything up there as well.

It sucks because this final step should be a few weeks and people in here are saying a month has gone by without receiving their passports back. This VO is concerning. Especially when my app is 3/15 and its done and people are waiting on 8/2018 apps.
