I'm the same...application received Jan 7...confirmation it is in Mexico Oct 23...but we have heard nothing else. I just need to be prepared but I didn't think it made sense to have the interview in Mexico. It seems a little much to make people travel to another country for an interview
I know and understand completely what you mean ...I did my medical exams in Guyana with my baby girl and I had to travel to my main capital habana because there is not a direct fly from my province holguin..later to Panama and Guyana after..and I will do it again because the embassy of Canada closed in my country and they do just finger prints...and passport stamps ...I am from Cuba as you could assume already and for us is even harder...we apply in April 17 2019

I would also order gcms notes to see what’s going on ,
Thanks for the reply. I read through many of your posts, it really put my mind at ease. I ordered the GCMS notes on Dec 27th. Does it normally take the 35-40 days as quoted to receive info? Once I hear anything from immigration or the GCMS i'll update my post.

As far as I know interviews are being done in Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago..Our application is in Mexico since Oct and we didn't get any other news since an email we received saying that..
Do you know if you can choose the office where you do the interview? My Husband is in St. Vincent; Trinidad is much easier, and more affordable to get to than Mexico.

Idk exactly where the office is because that info comes in the email VO sends to people when they get interviews date..I think you should go through some posts to see who went already to interview in Trinidad or ask in general to anyone in the forum who already went to interview...sorry I cant help with that I wish I could have done the interview..my God I would be like in heaven..wish you the best of luck

I’m not sure as my husband did his in his country , we were lucky enough to have a VO there .

I am wondering about interviews...my wife's application is at the Mexico VO. She is a citizen of Ecuador. If there is an interview required...will we have to travel to Mexico for the interview or will it be done in Ecuador where she resides?
You may not have to do an interview at all but if you do, I believe they try to schedule you as close to your home country as possible. This may require travel for some but not all. My husband was convoked to an interview by the Mexico office and the interview took place in his country.

I ordered in August and didn’t get them until about 60 or so days later.

Oh. I didn't know there was a choice. We got fingerprints done in Ecuador so I wonder then if we can choose that

It seems the majority of applications that go to Mexico require emails...maybe this is why this VO is so slow...but I hope we don't need one because we are already at the year mark and that will add an additional month at least to our application time.

July 30th 2018 applicant here,
Anyone else waiting for interview.like us?
April 15,2019 and I am the applicant too ..you are not the only one waiting..there are others from 2018..what is your time line?did the VO ask you extra information?

We were told in November that our file has been sent over to Trinidad for interview an that we should give Trinidad two months time to get us a date smh,I mean the holidays are over so why the hold up still....so soo frustrating. We didnt request extra info because it takes too long,so all we can do is keep sending emails an hoping for good news.
