Im new to this forum and going through the process like everyone else.

Heres my timeline:

AOR1- July 25,2018

SA- Aug 17,2018

File Transfer Email to Mexico VO-Sep 5,2018

AOR2- October 12,2018(Mexico started processing our application for PR)

Med Request- November 22, 2018

Im not too familiar with how the Mexico Visa office works but based on reading some responses it seems a bit slow. But some people from June 2018 outland spousal sponsorship group received a passport request within the 6-8 month mark.

Whats your timeline?

Hi guys, couple of days ago I was excited about getting the pre arrival letter, now I received another letter telling I need an ARC I have to pay 400 and send a letter explaining why I overstayed ( I applied for refugee and it was refused so I left when they told me) as far as I know that is not a deportation is a departure order and departure orders doesn’t need ARC and I don’t have any proof of it, they even didn’t stamp my passport when I landed at my own country so the worse part I heard it can take from 2 months to 6 months, we’ll to pay the fees and explain that and hopefully they approve it. Anyone facing a similar situation?
October 2017 applicant

I’m december 2017 applicant and I’m in the same situation. Received the letter asking for an ARC on November 6th and received pre-arrival Nov. 7th. Dis you had any news since then? How long it took to process the ARC?

Hi Everyone, Outland Mexico April 2018 applicant. Just joining the group hoping to hear some updates. And to keep each other informed. I cant help but to wonder why it's so slow compared to other VO's. Feeling very helpless dk whether to be happy to be where we're at or dread another half a year or more waiting.

Hi everyone,
My case is a little different but we share the same VO. I'm a FSW-O applicant who got married after the AOR but before PPR.
After IP2, I discovered that my case is in Mexico City and supposedly approved, only waiting for PPR.

I've tried emailing them but got no response. The phonelines are also denied to us, right? Do you have some tips for contacting them?

Thanks

Thanks, that is the main call center, right? They say my application is approved but waiting for Mexico VO to send PPR.
I was hoping there was a way to speak to someone in Mexico though :(

Yes it’s the call center. I believe the only way to speak to someone directly in Mexico is via web form. Congratulations on your approval btw

still waiting for the VO mexico, I am in the mark of the 7 months in the waiting I requested a visitor's visa without much expectation in the beginning of December and to my surprise I was approved today for my surprise so I am waiting in Canada with my husband and I will still be here until My ppr is definitely good luck to everyone.

7 months since you applied or since app have been at vo?

Hello Lobato,
Welcome to the club ! Another Brazilian that had the app transferred to Mexico. I am not sure if we should celebrate or not, Mexico VO is very slow as São Paulo
Well, I am not excited for this news to be honest... I am in Canada visiting family and friends and really trying to disconnect from this process... My wife and I will be going back to Brazil in January and then I will see if I am going to send them an email or not. I hope that it doesn't take more than 4 more months for this thing to be over.
Where are you from in Brazil?
