Hello can somebody help :(

My wife and I submitted the application for Outland PR on March 8th 2017 ( she is Canadian I am Mexican ). My medical were requested about a couple of weeks later and I passed them. Then I got an email requesting schedule 1 IMM3908, schedule A background declaration and passport pictures , they gave me 28 days to send that info to Miguel de Cervantes which we did... . We haven’t received any other notification since March .. it’s been 8 months and we feel super worried :/. Is this normal ? How long does it take to receive the police check request email /letter ? How does it work ?

Thank you
if you haven't got a police request look into your gums notes, one person over here was waiting for the request and it turned out that the agent never sent the email until the applicant requested the notes and found out so they send an enquiry email and got the request days later. i hope i explained myself clearly. my brain has not been working correctly these days. hope this info helps.

Ok interesting, thanks. When you say your timeline mimicked the averages for "our specific country"- do you mean our VO country Mexico, or the country from which the PA in your case is from? We are Argentina and I haven't seen many others from there around this forum.
Hola ! My partner is from Argentina too! You aren't alone !!

Hola, awesome- nice to know there are others :). Where are you two at in your process? We submitted on Sept. 1, 2017 and are waiting for AOR2.
We submitted on May 10th 2017. Everything after (medical, aor2, police check, etc) happened within 2.5 months - relatively fast. Our background check has been in progress since the beginning of July and no news since then. Actually got a bit worried our police check never made it to Mexico as we had over 4 months with no confirmation it was successfully received (and GCKEY says they need more documentsfrom us), so we sent a letter (we are living in Oaxaca right now so it was fast and easy) to confirm they got it. They replied the next day saying yes and our file is in line to be reviewed and nothing else is needed from us. I think they are super busy - seem to be one of the slower VOs and the earthquake slowed things down too. All we can do is wait patiently but I am thinking within thr next month, month and half we should hear something.

Hi Mexico VOers,
My partner and I have officially joined the ranks of those being processed in Mexico- we got the transfer confirmation e-mail yesterday. I've been following this thread for a while and get the impression that folks haven't had the speediest of experiences with this VO, but I'll be hopeful. Is there a Mexico spreadsheet in the works, or any averages about processing times etc. for applications once they are transferred? I know it's likely to be all over the show, but if there's a spreadsheet I'll put our info in. Saludos!

Hola! We have started a whatsapp group for the Mexico Visa Office! If you want to email me your phone number I can add you to the group! rebecca_p@rogers.com

We have COPR in hand and can't contain our excitement! Such a great and indescribable moment. One that will outweigh all the madness and inpatient moments
