We got PPR on Tuesday! So happy this is finally coming to an end!

Once passport is sent, how long do they typically take to send back?

Also, my husband is currently in Canada on his visitor visa. Should we still apply for an extension, his 6 months ends mid November?
by previous comments on this forum I know that it will take around 2 weeks to get the passport back

It is - the only thing keeping is sane is our notes and seeing the progress being made. Our MP is going to submit another enquiry at the end of the month

They asked my husband to redo medical and criminal records. No interview yet. We are at 14 months mark. Does anybody know if it is a good sign?

When did your husband get his pcc(s) done? I am still waiting for them to ask my partner for a new pcc. His was issued November 13, 2016 and they still haven't asked for a new one. I am just trying to see how much in advance they usually ask for these things. Thanks! Hopefully this request will be followed by PPR soon for you!

His did his medical and police check initially july 27, 2016. So it expired this july 2017. They asked us to redo 2 and half month after expiry. But they can extend yours or ask to redo. I heard they need to close 80% of 2016 cases by the end of this year. That is why they are working harder now. From 2018 processing times will be 12 month. We got bad luck. Hopefully this ends soon. Good luck
