Did you submit all the documents at once? 120 days is lots of time just to wait and get the rcmp :'(, Lawyer said the rcmp has to be sent to Mississagua, so once we have the receipt for the rcmp they will submit all the docs. Husband went to the PGR today, so the Mexican PCC will be ready in 10 days, they won't translate the "DATOS REGISTRALES" so we have to look for that, how did you get yours translated? I might have his IRB decision at home, Have to go through his migration file to see if i can find it, I don't want to request it to IRB so we can save some time. i just hope that if they request interview for us, is because of the ARC and not because of a relationship concern, I won't be able to travel to be there with my husband, I wish i could be with him but it won't be possible, not after September. :'(

No I didn't submit all docs at once. First thing my husband quickly started the process for PGR which was a headache because had to be sent to a couple places. Also he got fingerprints done asap. Then PGR and fingerprints got sent to Toronto to our lawyer. The lawyer got it translated and I wanted PGR sent right away because after a month it expires. Lawyer said it didn't matter but I didn't want to take chances. So translated PGR, payment and IRB (the lawyer had that info already), was sent at the end of one month. Fingerprints were digitalized and sent to RCMP. RCMP took two months before clearance was sent to lawyer and then sent to Mexico. So I'm glad we moved fast because it took 3 months to wrap it up.
For interview the say it's usually questions about relationship. In part it is. But they drilled my husband on his immigration history as well. He was told they were declining the application and he could appeal. I insisted on being present ...flew out for 2 days...because when she called me in and started asking questions she changed her decision and approved his PR application. Not in all cases do they speak with a spouse. But in my case it was good I was there.

I forgot to mention. They will also request an updated form for schedule A and another two forms...then again I'm under the old system so not sure what procedure is now. Either way they will send the request.
St interview they didn't talk about ARC, I asked what the process was and the lady said they would let us know later on about ARC....still waiting!

I hope you get the ARC request soon,
I have read from others that they got interview and were asked only about the overstayed issue or why the ARC should be approved, also I thought they would do the interview after PCC and ARC were requested. I guess everything seems to be changing now.
Our case has some red flags, but we are expecting a baby and I just don't know if that would be enough for the agent to believe our relationship is genuine. I sent the old application kit, but it was sent on Jan 10, 2017, processing times are supposed to be shorter but i don't think it will apply to our case.

I will ask the lawyer to do the translation then. Less headaches.

Thanks for replying.

Honestly I truly believe you will be fine... we had several red flags...and what they focused on was his immigration history. We did prepare for interview with questions I found in this forum (very similar to what lawyer gave us). They will believe relationships if you have evidence....and that will be enough for them. Your basic stuff, pics of trips, pics together, phone calls and any other communication.

I thought the same thing that interview was later but it kind of all Happened together.

Fingers crossed all goes well, but I have a good feeling for you....trust me my application is not straight forward at all. So you should be fine too!

Thank you for your words.

I have another question for you, I am trying to help my husband to get his fingerprints for the RCMP, did you go through a certified company from Canada to get the PCC?, we are trying to use the Shapran Morpho Global ID Services, but it seem a little complicated, My husband has to go to different internet places to try and get the forms printed and it's become a nightmare. So i am wondering how did you get your paper fingerprints digitalized?

My husband got the fingerprints done In Mexico using the forms given to us by Canada immigration. We gave them to the lawyer and he sent them to a company to get digitalized. In Mexico he was lucky his friend does fingerprints.

Yes, your husband is really lucky :), is a real pain in the neck to get the things done in Mexico. My husband is so frustrated right now. At least I manage to get the company to do the PCC for us, we just have to send the Fingerprints, we will have to do the proccess for ourselves, lawyers gave us the list of the different companies only. I regret not starting the RCMP before, we could've save time! :( little did we know.

You said you send your RCMP at the end of March? I hope you get contact again soon, for me so far its been waiting periods of a month approx.

Yep just waiting for next step! I believe the headaches. The PGR was frustrating and I was in Mexico with my husband getting it done. They sent us to three offices before it was notarized and all. I'm sure some stuff wasn't even needed but they didn't even know so we got everything done to be safe.
To get digitalized it won't take long. Probably less than a week. So you should be good. Its a lot of running around! Fingers crossed this will be over soon!

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to request our GCMS notes at this point? We applied September 26th, file got sent to Mexico on December 22nd. Last month they requested my husband redo his medicals which he did right away, and since then nothing. MyCIC is stuck at "we are reviewing eligibility" .. just seems to be a while.. Maybe the notes request will trigger some movement?

We're on The same boat, my wife got the medicals requested on march 14 and they even say "passed" in MyCiC. I actually went to my local MP and made an inquiry to know where is this application at...

For those of you still waiting to get AOR2 or a request for documents after file transfer, I received this email from Miguel today:

I sent the VO an email asking about our application status and reminded them that we have been waiting 7 weeks to hear something.

I sure hope it is not still in transit. It has been 7 weeks and 1 day (March 13), but who's counting, since we got the email saying that our file had been transferred.

My only hope is that this maybe (but probably not) will give them a nudge to start doing something for those of us who are at this stage in the process.
