I need help with the Forum Profile Info button, I only see the following:

what am I missing?

It should be right under that.
However as a new person who hasn't posted a lot, I think you have to have so many posts before you can update your profile on the side. I think it's like 10 or 15 posts so you should be able to now

Oh got it, I guess for me would be an FBI background check which I already have done and received the results. But I'm not sure if I should submit it before they request it.

Yes that would be yours :)
When did you send your application?
I'm not sure if you should submit it now or wait until they request it. We sent ours upfront

Hi All - just sharing some good news from the MVO. My husband is arriving this Sunday after a long process (started January 25, 2016). But we made it!

Reading comments on this forum and having the spreadsheets to refer to kept me sane.

Hoping for good news for all those waiting for so long like we were!

That is super exciting! Glad to hear some good news :)
Congrats and enjoy with your husband!
I see your profile shows he had an interview. Was it just standard or did they give you a reason why?

Hi - Thanks! No reason given. Strangely enough I requested our notes, and he was contacted for the interview 2 days later. We had no idea why. The notes still haven't arrived. I guess I'm not getting that $5.00 back. LOL

Hello Mexico Forum. Added my info to Spreadsheet.

My application is to sponsor my Wife from Honduras and application went to Mexico Visa Office.

MyCIC is showing:

Application status We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Not applicable.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

ECAS is showing:
In Process...
1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 5, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on February 21, 2017.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on December 20, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

The correspondence they sent was for an IMM 5604 (Declaration from Non-Accompanying Parent...)
We did not fill this out as my wife has a daughter whose birth certificate only shows the mother. We did however send a "Declaracion Jurada" that she has sole custody and has no communication (or knows whereabouts of the father).

MVO responded in an email to my wife on February 27th stating they acknowledged the document and that they received our application. (considered AOR2 I guess?). They said no further action is required and to be patient.

From going through December Out land applicants forum it would seem my next step would be to see MyCIC change to background check in progress.

I can't update my profile as I don't have enough posts yet.

I have been getting so much correspondance from the time the application was received on dec 7, 2016, first Aor Dec 16 and my approval to sponsor, then a letter to request another background declaration to be filled and his passport to be renewed. A few days later they asked for another police certificate, that was all by end of December. (When i questionned them by email, they said it was just a reminder, i didnt take a chance and got another one done) In January 2017 after sending all the requested documents, on Jan 19 got another AOR from mexico that they had all they needed and to wait.

I take that was the AOR2 and files transfered to Mexico?
His medical was already done in Oct 2016 which shows as passed on my Cic account.

My husband's mailing address was sent correctly but they have a typo in all their letters they emailed us.
When i sent the files back i wrote a letter to ask them to correct it. It has not been corrected.
I filled the form on the Cic page to ask them about it and never heard back.

I tried to correct it under the cic page but on there it is my own address here in canada. So i did not want to make an error and did not change it on there directly.
