Also, all the RCMP stuff you guys are talking about, is only if you have lived in Canada for more than 6 months right?

An Arc is needed when you are deported. RCMP i don't know if after 6 months, so you're probably right. In my situation everything needs to be done!

CIC processing times have changed today as well for new applications received after Dec 7.

Unfortunately for us. Likely you would hear back from CIC soon. With every govt changes, measures like these come to existence , I am not surprised at the move. But they don't tell how they plan to address 80,000 applications in system ( until today ). All we hear is it would be processed in the order it was received..

The Government is only making big noise no actual steps will be taken and blame it on non routine applications/security etc . oh but yes the already fast U.S applications will be processed even faster to make the promised numbers .

Question, in what I think is the PPR, the Mexico office is asking, for a copy of the letter, photographs and also a COPY OF THE PASSPORT. Do you know what they mean by copy of the passport? I was expecting them to request the original passport, or maybe do they mean the original one? Thank you!!

if you are Mexican there is no need for your actual passport because you don't need Visa anymore .

Just a question, was your previous medical exam expired in October? Did they ask you for re medical?
