That's crazy ,you have to wait almost a year after AOR2 ? I think he means you will get a decision by March 2017 and I think you will get it sooner .

They say march because right now the processing time for Guatemala is 15 months indicated on CIC webpage. The last two times I requested MP inquiries they said it will be in May 2017 cuz the processing time back then was 17 months.

I really hope it does not take actually 15 months! We just mailed our application this week, the wait begins!

I hope so , because they are saying 120 days or more .plus they will take their time t mail it and them Canada post will take 2 /3 days to delver it .

any good news for you Capin ?

Did you try talking to MP? I guess that may not help to speed up RCMP process. I faced similar issue with FBI PCC couple of years back, and I used to make calls every 3-5 days, but once I got a nice officer who was able to help me and expedite it.

Just to give an update, I got email from Mexico embassy few minutes back requesting PGR certificate from Mexico and photos. They also provided me the letter i need to provide to Mexican officials for PGR. How much time would it take to get PGR certificate from Mexico ? My wife who is PA, is located in Mexico City.

Congrats on the good news! I think PGR certificates takes a maximum of ten days to get issued, for my wife it took four days.

Good to know that things are moving on the MVO

Congrats nartct!!!!! I'm right behind you so I will probably get mine soon. Once you go to PGR, it will take 10 working days to pick up the PC and you just have to translate it.......

Please excuse my ignorance... what is PGR?? :P

Although my wife is Mexican, I am slowly learning Spanish. I went through PGR website, and it is very difficult to ccmprehend. Could anyone let me know what documents are required for applying PGR? Photos ? Likely I will need to wait until my wife reads it.

You need IDs and Photo's and I think 140 Pesos +- ,
Your file is moving very fast , it took them 8 long months to request PGR for my wife .

Edit : did you also receive an invitation to attend a living in Canada( or so ) Orientation thing ?

I got an invitation to attend " living in Canada ". The first page said that receiving that document doesn't mean file is finalized. :)

;D they had to mention it .

Regarding photos, this is what my document says:

"Please provide four (2) photos for you ( 5 cm * 7 cm ) ".

Did they mean 4 photos or 2 photos? My wife is planning to send 4, just wanted to pass this along, and seek your thoughts.
