Explain my situation really fast!
Me and my wife are almost at the end of the process , we send the application, we did the finger print and the background check and the medical! Its been a year we start the process , we didnt hear about any interview but last month they ask us for ARC + 400$ fees and a letter ! Somebody know how much time a ARC take? And do you guys think we gonna have a interview ?
TANMEX said:Hi ,
since they requested ARC I don't think there will be an interview , ARC takes 2 to 4 weeks at MXVO .
You said you did the finger print police certificate , is it the one from the RCMP ? if so do you min telling me how long before you received it .
I'm still waiting for mine it's been almost 115 days .
Thank you

my partner also got the finger print certificate from RCMP request. He went to a police office here in Montreal to do the whole thing and send them electronically and we received the document within 3 business days.
One of the fastest thing in the whole process...
I guest that if yours is taking 115 days to arrive is that you are not currently living in Canada, right?
I wish you all the best !

Its taking that long because my wife ( now in Mexico ) overstayed in Canada and was ordered to leave . it take 3 business days if you have no problems like no refugee claim , deportation or overstaying .
Capin said:I requested the CSIS processing status on August 12. I received a mail today from them saying they haven't received the application yet. Means my husband's security check has not been processed yet. It's been almost 5 months since the AOR2. I don't understand why it's taking so long. We also got the feedback from MP which we requested updates last week. They said the file is completed, no additional documents required, my husband's medical exam will be expired in one month, so we may be requested another one. The process takes 15 months, so we will receive a decision in March 2017.....
It Is ridiculously slow.

did you ordered the GSCM notes?.

I did! On August 3, but on September 3 I received their reply saying the consent letter I provided was wrong, so I sent another one, I think it wil arrive in the beginning of next month, but I guess it will show the same as yours.
