Congratulations. I see from timelines you applied on Aug 2015. Were there any hiccups during the process? You got request for PGR on May - and when did you actually sent it back? Looking through your posts, I am slightly confused.

We had the PGR in May and sent it back within 24 hours. There were no hiccups at all, and our was about as straight forward an application as you can get. I guess they were just dragging their heels with us. We actually did request the GSCM notes though and they should arrive in a week or two. Maybe that will give some more insight into the delays? I will absolutely update once they are received.

Thanks!

Hi ,
since they requested ARC I don't think there will be an interview , ARC takes 2 to 4 weeks at MXVO .
You said you did the finger print police certificate , is it the one from the RCMP ? if so do you min telling me how long before you received it .

I'm still waiting for mine it's been almost 115 days .

Thank you

Hi Tanmex,

my partner also got the finger print certificate from RCMP request. He went to a police office here in Montreal to do the whole thing and send them electronically and we received the document within 3 business days.

One of the fastest thing in the whole process...:)

I guest that if yours is taking 115 days to arrive is that you are not currently living in Canada, right?

I wish you all the best !

Its taking that long because my wife ( now in Mexico ) overstayed in Canada and was ordered to leave . it take 3 business days if you have no problems like no refugee claim , deportation or overstaying .

Yes, exactly, we did not have any of those problems.

I'm sorry to hear that your wife was ordered to leave...eventually the PR process is gonna come to an end and you guys are gonna be reunited.:)

I requested the CSIS processing status on August 12. I received a mail today from them saying they haven't received the application yet. Means my husband's security check has not been processed yet. It's been almost 5 months since the AOR2. I don't understand why it's taking so long. We also got the feedback from MP which we requested updates last week. They said the file is completed, no additional documents required, my husband's medical exam will be expired in one month, so we may be requested another one. The process takes 15 months, so we will receive a decision in March 2017.....

It Is ridiculously slow.

That's crazy ,you have to wait almost a year after AOR2 ? I think he means you will get a decision by March 2017 and I think you will get it sooner .

I did! On August 3, but on September 3 I received their reply saying the consent letter I provided was wrong, so I sent another one, I think it wil arrive in the beginning of next month, but I guess it will show the same as yours.

What about you Tanmex, when did u have your most recent notes? Was anything pending there?

I requested the Notes Aug. 03 and received them 2 days ago .

Nothing new in the notes , same old stuff as the notes I received last June .

But there is something they processed very fast , I sent a package of additional docs ( PGR , Photos , Updated Sch. A ) they received them Aug. 18 , processed and updated them to GCMS Aug. 24 .

why they don't everything else as fast ?

It's showing RCMP record check pending .
