Hello everyone

Is there any May, June and July applicants out there? If so have y'all received PPR yet?

Hello guys,

I am Indian Citizen. I have used this forum a lot for obtaining the PR. After i obtained my PR, i went ahead with marrying my girlfriend who is Mexican.

I am currently arranging the documents that we need to submit to CIC. As such,

a) Many documents are in Spanish, including our wedding documents. Do you have any suggestion for translation/notarization? Where could i find one of them in Mexico city?

b) I am currently printing our photos as well. How did you mark the people present in photographs? Did you just write the name of the persons, on the back side of picture? Did you date them at the back of the pictures?

I will be very active in this forum from now onwards, until i bring my wife to Canada.

Thanks
Narayanan

Hi - For translation, I used the services of Quetzalcoatl Aguilar in Mexico City. He is a certified "Perito traductor auxiliar del Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Distrito Federal." I found his name through the list of official translators provided by the Benjamin Franklin library in Mexico. I don't have an email address but this is his phone number: (04455) 25-21-33-34. He was very fast and very familiar with the process. Very helpful person.

As for the photos, I wrote the names of the people, and date when the photo was taken in the back of the photos. For the ones I didn't remember the specific day, I wrote the month and year.

I hope this helps, and good luck!

Look for one in google, there are plenty. Look for "traduccion inmigración"

Hi Ricaldine ,

when you sent your package the 1st time , did you include any of CRA documents as proof of common-law relationship ? like a letter of CRA advising them of Martial status change and declared your partner under the T1 General form and the Statutory declaration of common-law ?

I'm wondering why would they question your common-law relationship , I applied under the same and I'm a bit worried they might come back and ask for more cohabitation evidence .

Hello Tanmex, i did send all that information, but they ask me for more proof of common law and that we are still together... im sure you are ok we have a couple of red flags and i guess that's why they are asking for more information... we are both still married, we haven't been able to get our divorces in the past year, my partner is in the states without status and i had to move back to Canada a couple of month ago, my partner has a kid from his previous marriage that we couldn't get examined, so i think that is why they need more information.

I got line 6 this morning on CIC
showing medicals received. I hope is because they already open my mail :)
