has anyone had experience with redoing medicals after an interview?

my husband had his interview February 18 and was approved on the spot. He had to redo his medical and get a new police certificate, certified and translated. It has been over 4 weeks since he did that and provided Mexico VO with the documents.

Anyone have any idea how much longer we will be waiting!? We are beyond stressed.. going on 16 months

It took us 4 weeks to get COPR after the medical... Yours should be coming right away. They were closed last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the holidays. We were told two weeks for the passport to be returned and still waiting!

my husband had to provide another police certificate, so I am assuming that is delaying it.

Has anyone else been asked to provide a police clearance again?

Sweet the fifth line has appeared on ECAS asking for requested documents which we sent Tuesday ;D.. It looks so good to see it filling up like that lol.. We are almost there thank God.. Blessings to all.. We wish y'all a speedy processing

In my case I still only have the first line "We received xxxxxx's application for permanent residence on December 23, 2015." under the PR. It has been showing in process though for 3-4 weeks, DR sent the medical results online 3-4 weeks ago and still not showing has they received them...

Hopefully they did and it is just ECAS not being updated !!

We are already April, time is flying by !

Hello yeppers it's moving and it feels good lol.. Ok sweet you have 3 months in the game.. Don't worry too much your process sounds normal.. Ecas is not always updated on time. The best way to know where the visa office are at is to watch postings of the applicants that applied before you. In your case October and November applicants. Your medical is in the system.. When they reach your file they will add it in.. How many lines does the sponsor side has?

Ok awesome your good to go.. Ecas has done well for you cause my wife only got 2 lines lol.. Yeah it will not show on Ecas that you were approved the email confirms that.. Yup very normal.. Your processing time for now is normal too.. The key to this is PATIENCE.. Hard but we have no choice. Just keep praying and all will go just well.. I wish you a speedy processing and congrats on your process so far

On the forum I was told that it would be faster to send them via email, so that's what I did and it paid off. In 2 days they answered back. They only requested the fee and update of schedule A form..

That's great at least you know they received it, i had to mail mine because it was a lot of information, i know it got deliver on the 29th but i they havent send any email yet

Yeppers very great.. I didn't know they was gunna get back to us so fast but I'm happy they did.. Oh wauw.. I saw the list of the docs they asked you guys for that's a lot .. I hope you get an email soon

Hi Ricaldine ,

when you sent your package the 1st time , did you include any of CRA documents as proof of common-law relationship ? like a letter of CRA advising them of Martial status change and declared your partner under the T1 General form and the Statutory declaration of common-law ?

I'm wondering why would they question your common-law relationship , I applied under the same and I'm a bit worried they might come back and ask for more cohabitation evidence .
